​My qualification: I completed a Masters of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies and Clinical Psychology, with a specialisation in Consciousness, Spirituality and Integrative health, and a PhD in Humanistic Psychology. I am an intuitive empath with high sensitivity personality type. I work from a holistic approach. I have an acute understanding of trauma and abuse as my background is littered with traumatic experiences (from childhood thru earlier adulthood) which I have had address during my training. I meditate daily and enjoy hillwalking, listening to music, going to concerts/plays and reading/research. In indulge in self-care and maintain a balance lifestyle.
My therapeutic orientation is client-centred humanistic/existential constructivist. I engage all types of individuals but I specialise in Enduring Personality Change After Catastrophic Experiences (EPCACE Syndrome (i.e., Complex Trauma) in individuals with High Sensitivity Personality, Gifted and/or Neurodivergent. I see each individual from a whole self perspective (mind/body and spirit) and take into consideration all the systems that influence one's wellbeing (cultural, emotional, psychological, familial, etc). I primarily engage person-centred, narrative and solution-focus therapy. I also utilise clinical hypnotherapy, mindfulness and NLP. I am qualified to work with clients experiencing a wide range of symptoms of dis-ease; chronic pain, anxiety, self-esteem issues PTSD, Religious/Spiritual abuse, Borderline Personality, Domestic abuse, Family issues/Social/Economic trauma, Gender Dysphoria, Narcissistic abuse, multicultural issues, and stress related dis-ease.
